Dental Access Network
Clinician Terms and Conditions
These terms apply when an individual clinician registers with DAN/Odenta to receive patient opportunities through the platform.
1. Our role
DAN/Odenta provides a digital routing and administrative access platform that helps connect patients with participating dental providers and clinicians. DAN/Odenta does not provide dental treatment, clinical advice, diagnosis, treatment planning, or clinical supervision.
Any clinical assessment, consent, diagnosis, treatment planning, record keeping, treatment, aftercare, complaint about treatment, or clinical outcome remains the responsibility of the treating clinician and, where applicable, the relevant dental practice arrangements.
2. Individual clinician registration
By registering as an individual clinician, you confirm that you are registering in your own name. Your registration is between you and the platform operator.
Your registration does not create an agreement between DAN/Odenta and any dental practice, clinic, employer, principal, corporate group, landlord, premises owner, or other third party unless that organisation separately registers or enters into its own agreement with DAN/Odenta.
3. Practice locations and local arrangements
You must only list locations where you are appropriately authorised to work and where you are permitted to receive, communicate with, and treat patients in accordance with your local arrangements.
Your use of each listed location remains subject to your own employment, associate, locum, licence, service, tenancy, or other agreement with the relevant practice or premises owner. DAN/Odenta does not replace, override, amend, approve, or interfere with those arrangements.
4. Information you provide
You are responsible for ensuring that your profile, GDC details, contact details, listed locations, opening days, availability, services, fees, and patient communications are accurate and kept up to date.
You must not list a location, appointment type, service, fee, or availability unless you are authorised and able to provide that service at that location.
5. Patient opportunities
DAN/Odenta may route patient opportunities to you based on your listed locations, services, availability, and capacity. Receiving a patient opportunity does not guarantee that the patient will attend, proceed with treatment, or be clinically suitable for treatment.
You are responsible for reviewing each patient enquiry, communicating appropriately with the patient, and deciding whether it is appropriate to offer an appointment, treatment, referral, or advice.
6. Platform fees and patient booking fees
Where DAN/Odenta charges a patient booking fee, deposit, or platform fee, the fee arrangement will be shown or explained within the platform or related onboarding materials. The platform may retain its fee when a patient accepts an offer, books through the platform, or is otherwise successfully routed in accordance with the applicable pathway.
Any separate treatment fee, consultation fee, clinical fee, or practice charge is between the patient and the treating clinician or relevant practice, as applicable. You are responsible for ensuring any fees you display or communicate are accurate and consistent with your local arrangements.
DAN/Odenta does not collect or control clinical treatment fees unless a specific payment arrangement is separately agreed or enabled through the platform.
7. No-shows, cancellations and refunds
Patient booking fees, deposits, no-show rules, cancellation arrangements, and refund treatment may vary by pathway and will be communicated through the platform or related patient materials where applicable.
You remain responsible for applying any local practice policy that applies after you or the practice has accepted or arranged an appointment with the patient.
8. Professional obligations
You are responsible for your own registration, indemnity, scope of practice, professional standards, patient consent, clinical records, safeguarding obligations, infection control, complaints handling, and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, guidance, and local practice policies.
9. Platform access and approval
DAN/Odenta may review, approve, pause, suspend, or remove clinician registrations or listed locations where information appears incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate, inactive, or incompatible with the purpose of the platform.
DAN/Odenta may also pause or restrict access where there are concerns about patient experience, platform misuse, inaccurate information, repeated non-response, or failure to keep availability and contact details up to date.
10. Relationship with practices
Registering as an individual clinician does not make DAN/Odenta a party to any agreement between you and a practice, employer, principal, corporate group, or premises owner.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of the platform is compatible with your local practice arrangements. If a practice separately registers with DAN/Odenta, that practice registration will be treated separately from your individual clinician registration.
11. Changes to these terms
DAN/Odenta may update these clinician terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updated terms are made available may be treated as acceptance of the updated terms.
Summary
DAN/Odenta is a platform connecting patients with access options. You remain responsible for your clinical work and for ensuring that you are authorised to list and work from each location you add.
