Pricing, booking fees and cancellations
Odenta and Emergency Dentist 4u are free to start. You can submit a request, join the free NHS waiting-list pathway, and explore available dental pathways without paying upfront.
How payment works
1. You can submit a dental request at no cost.
2. If the pathway is free, such as the NHS waiting list, there is nothing to pay.
3. On some urgent or private pathways, a booking fee may be requested only when you decide to secure a real appointment slot.
4. The Odenta booking fee is paid to Alevian Health Ltd. If you attend, the practice applies an equivalent booking-fee credit against its consultation or appointment charge.
5. Treatment fees are set by the dental practice and should be confirmed with the practice before treatment begins.
Refunds, cancellations and non-attendance
Important: where an Odenta booking fee applies, it covers the cost of finding, securing and confirming your appointment through Odenta.
Once your appointment is confirmed, contact the dental practice directly if you need to cancel, request a different appointment time or tell the practice that you are running late.
The practice may offer one rescheduled appointment at its discretion. If it does, your existing Odenta booking fee and booking-fee credit carry over to the agreed replacement appointment.
The fee will not be refunded if you cancel, do not attend, arrive too late to be seen or decide not to proceed.
The dental practice may refuse treatment if you do not attend on time or if there is not enough time remaining to provide safe care.
Any diagnosis, treatment, treatment fee, clinical outcome, complaint, refund request relating to treatment, or other clinical dispute is between you and the dental practice. Odenta and Emergency Dentist 4u help arrange access but do not provide clinical treatment.
